Ruchir
Ruchir is co-founder & Chief Learning Officer of the Indian Classical Music School of Columbia, co-founder and producer of the popular YouTube channel SwarMatters, and a senior consultant to the U.S. Government. He has a Master of Arts in Management, focusing on Human Resources. Ruchir has certification from the U.S. Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights as a Human Rights Consultant. He is a proud immigrant and veteran of the U.S. Army.
He has been passionate about human rights and mental health advocacy ever since he came back, having survived deployments to combat zones in Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere. Ruchir continues his work through and with charitable organizations such as the American Diversity Group and the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services. He has lived with his wife and two daughters in Maryland since 2015. Ruchir is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) group, the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), and the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI).
